Attacked McCain Volunteer

There has to be something really wrong with a person who would make up such an inflammatory story. I hope that she gets the help she needs but at the same time I hope she gets the punishment she deserves. We have so many things that can be used against Senator Obama and his followers in order to win this election. This story deserves absolutely no attention at this point. It was probably done to get attention.

One World Government

There has been a lot of talk in regards to a one world government being formed. Most people state that it would be historic, that nothing like it has happened before. However they are wrong. We have had semi one world governments before and all have collapsed.

The Western Roman Empire occurred from 27bc to 476AD and it's territories included all of Europe, northern Africa and into Turkey. The shear size of The Western Roman Empire is one reason why it collapsed. When so many people are under control by one entity revolts are sure to happen. Also the cost of running a large empire or what was considered to be most of the known world at that time contributed to their downfall.

The second example is the British Empire which started under Elizabeth I with the defeat of the Spanish Armada. Because of all the wars that were started to gain territories in the years after Elizabeth, the monetary cost were astronomical. It caused the Empire to have to tax it's people in order to pay for their wars. In the case of the United States we revolted and left the empire. Other countries followed suit. And today, England which once controlled 25% of the world land and population now only controls 14 territories which include uninhabitable areas and areas which the local populations have no interest in independence.

One world governments fail there is no doubt about that. We must fight against a one world government because we will enter a new Dark Age if we do nothing.

Impact of Tax Increases

Today I received in the mail from The Heritage Foundation a great flier explaining the impact of not allowing the Bush tax cuts to expire. I wanted to share this info with everyone who comes to the site.

Just an FYI for all of you -

According the to The Heritage Foundation:

$2.4 trillion is the overall tax increased faced by Americans and businesses if the current tax cuts are allowed to expire

$1,716 is the average tax increased for over 100 million Americans if the tax cuts expire

$2,034 is the average tax increase that will hit 17 million seniors if the tax cuts are allowed to expire

8.3 million jobs created after the 2003 tax cuts

$91 billion - The cost of reinstating the Death Tax

$17.2 billion spent by 08 Congress on pork project to reward local special interest and pressure groups.

44 million - the number of married couples who will be affect and hit hard if the Marriage Penalty is reinstated

$1480 was the average cost of the Marriage Penalty in 2000

$108 billion was the reduction in 2005 for the federal deficit thanks to the tax cuts. (Of course wouldn't it had been nice if they had cut spending at the same time - that number could have been larger.)
